As soon as a customer steps foot into the store, Qi-en takes note of their needs and is ready to help at a moment’s notice. Qi-en believes that good service hinges on the details: paying attention to what a customer is looking at when they speak will often reveal what they’re looking for; and making the effort to calmly listen and concentrate when a customer speaks allows her to provide precisely what they need. Additionally, Qi-en values teamwork and works with her colleagues to create a good, friendly atmosphere, making customers feel as if they are right at home.

Outstanding Part-time Staff of 2022: Chen Pei-xuan from the Zhunan Longjia Store
Pei-xuan once noticed an elderly man sitting in an electric mobility scooter at the store entrance, who wished to enter the store to pay his bills but couldn’t because his scooter was too low. She proactively approached him and assisted him in this endeavor, and to this day she says she can’t forget the grateful look in the man’s eyes! Pei-xuan says she was only doing what she was supposed to do, but receiving recognition for completing an everyday task has given her a sense of accomplishment, inspiring her to provide even better service.

Outstanding Part-time Staff of 2022: Chen Yu-yu from the Taichung Chenggong Store
Yu-yu empathizes with the needs of others and always greets people with a smile, hoping to sprinkle a bit of sunshine into customers’ days. She once happened upon a customer in the store who couldn’t stop crying. When the customer revealed she had been scammed, Yu-yu helped to calm her down and assisted her in filing a report with the police. Ultimately, she were successful in stopping the scammers in her tracks, and seeing the customer smiling through her tears gave Yu-yu a sense of satisfaction and joy as well!

Outstanding Part-time Staff of 2022: Lin Pei-chun from the Taiping Industrial Park Store
Pei-chun hopes to show warmth to customers through her service. An older man once visited the store who wanted to pick up goods but was having trouble doing so with an injured hand. Pei-chun approached him to offer assistance, asked how his hand was doing, and opened the door for him as he left. The man kept on thanking her, praising FamilyMart for their excellent service. Any kind words of appreciation or encouragement from customers fully revitalizes Pei-chun, motivating her to continue to work hard.

Outstanding Part-time Staff of 2022: Wu Jie-rou from the Hsinchu Guandong Store
Jie-rou excels at listening to customers’ voiced needs and picking up on what they haven’t said, and does her best to fulfill their wishes. One time, a foreigner entered the store with a USB in hand, wanting to print some documents; she needed help but didn’t speak the language. Jie-rou had the idea to converse through a translation app on her phone, and the customer, overjoyed she had been able to complete her task, thanked her profusely. Language barriers may exist, but sincere service knows no bounds!
