An elementary school student didn’t have enough money for an umbrella, so Song Han-Kuang, one of the employees, decided to give his umbrella to the young student so he could make it to school! The customer also shared that Han-Kuang is very welcoming and always reminds customers to be careful of hot foods, exclaiming that Han-Kuang delivers five-star services!

Newsworthy Act
A netizen shared a story from the New Qixi Location in southern Hsinchu. An old man wearing a red jacket came into the store with a needle and thread, frantically asking if the employee could help him thread the needle. Our employee, Lu Fa-Ying, picked up the needle and thread and started trying. The netizen found the scene heartwarming and decided to share the video online. Many netizens also commended the employee’s actions and the story was even reported by the news with everyone agreeing that the employee is incredibly kind and nice.

FamilyMart’s 0800 customer service inbox received a letter from one of our customers where he shared how our employee, Zhou Shih-ming, at the Baihe Yongxing location tried to help him retrieve a NT$50 coin that had slipped under the racks. When Zhou was unable to retrieve the coin, he gave the customer his own NT$50 coin and said that he will get the coin later. The customer praised and thanked Zhou for his act of kindness.

He went to our Wufu Liufu location to purchase ice to ice his injuries. The store manager, Huang Si-Han, saw his injuries and came up to him, asking if he needed any medication or help. The customer also wanted some coffee and food, to which Huang told him that he can take a seat at the rest area and wait for her to bring the food.
